Meetsuites is a local marketplace that allows freelancers, creatives, and other solopreneurs to find and rent meeting space in uncommon locations around Atlanta. This project is in development and is scheduled to be released in late 2017. Building on the popularity of other peer-to-peer services, MeetSuites serves an unmet need in Metro Atlanta’s explosive small business growth: affordable, ultra-short term meeting space. While several local space directories exist, and some make forays into direct booking, none are regularly updated or aggressively marketed to potential venue renters. They also skew heavily towards larger venues and hotels catering primarily to professional meeting planners, with deposit and/or food and beverage requirements that are prohibitive to small enterprises. This concept-to-delivery project requires remote management of a distributed development team, comprehensive recruitment and marketing plans for three categories of users, and ongoing iterative development.
